Breast Cancer Awareness Day

On the second week of October 2016, Muslim Center Junior High School was focusing on Breast Cancer Awareness. Students learned about cancer and how it affects people's lives. We wanted our students to become empathetic, through which they can feel a sense of responsibility and community.
During that week we taught students few ways they can use to help with the fight against cancer such as making dua'a for those who suffer and their families, assisting anyone they know who is suffering from cancer, volunteering in hospitals, and donating to cancer research and treatment organizations.
